Nigerian celebrities like Dami Krane, Sheyi Shay, Naeto C are gearing up for the 2015 edition of KONAMII; the first ever inter-orphanage homes football competition/Charity soccer Fiesta in Lagos.

According to the organizers, KONAMII was born out of a passion & need to help the less privilege/ orphans in the society by blending the idea of football, entertainment and charity to raise funds, provide gifts and give orphans a sense of belonging in the society.
This year’s event will be the 3rd edition following two successful editions involving 2,500 youths in the two previous summer in Lagos.
The event aims at providing orphanage homes with practical support through sports, advance their rights , improve their minds , bridge the gap between the privilege and the less privilege in the society and most importantly, Give them a better future.

The 2015 event will hold on 25th of July 2015 at the Campos Mini stadium , Igbosere , Lagos Island. The event will kick off at 10am.    A line of celebrities at the 2014 edition.

The beneficiaries of this years events are 30 children, each from 5 different orphanage homes in Lagos. The chosen homes are; Lekki Motherless babies Home, Lekki;  Love home orphanage,Magodo; Heritage homes, Anthony Village; Sought after orphanage homes, Ajah and Little saints orphanage , Akowonjo.
The football matches scheduled for this year are:
1) Team Lagos Vs Team London
2) Team Ruby ( Female Team) vs Team Platinum ( Celebrity Female Team)
3) Proposed YBNL team vs Mavin Records Team
4) Orphanage Homes Games
Back in 2013, Falz and Sean Tizzle officiated the event while Korede Bello and Patoranking took the reigns in the 2014 edition.
Other activities Include; Ball Joggling, Tug of War , Mascots , Gifts Presentation. Attendees are however expected to pay a sum of N1000 to gain entry to the event.
In a related event, Nigerian celebrities like Femi Adebayo, Aki & Pawpaw, AY, Basketmouth, Ali Baba Akpororo, Bovi Don Jazzy, Iyanya, Kcee, D’banj, Davido, WizKid  in Surulere to raise awareness for Malaria on July 17, which was also the Eid-el-Fitri day.
