WHY BEING JUDGMENTAL BY JOSHUA AGUEZE, SOCIAL WORK, 200 LVL

People do ask me, how about your wonderful post on FSSGIST I replied, calm down! Working out on something new for everyone to know that it’s gone beyond you, but about your comment, views towards others. WHY BEING JUDGEMENTAL? Is just for everyone.

Even though you have a full picture about this post, just spare me some time and read on God bless you! How would your life be different if you stop making negative judgmental assumptions about people you encounter? Let today be the day… Look for the good in everyone you meet and respect their journey. Counting other people’s sins does not make you a saint. People who love themselves, don’t hurt other people. People who love themselves have no reason to ever judge another person on looks. There is simply no need.
There is nobody more beautiful or less beautiful than anyone else, including themselves. People who love themselves no longer see fat or skinny, tall or short, fair or dark skin, gay or straight, strong or weak. They only see people. Beautiful, beautiful people. Strong people don’t put others down, they lift them up, they see the good in everyone.
Sometimes the nicest people you meet are covered in tattoos, and sometimes the most judgmental people you meet go to church on Sundays. The arrogant, judgmental and egotistical appear to think they are better than us. Truth is, they are attempting to convince themselves that they are. If you judge people, you have no time to love them. We can judge others or we can love others – but we can’t do both at the same time.(SOC 226 probability). Everyone may not be good, but there’s always something good in everyone. Never judge anyone shortly because every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. Judging a person does not define who they are (for we really don’t know), but it does question why we are so ready to make such assumptions – and what it is within us that we are projecting upon them. When the mind drops its ideas about how things should be, and accepts what is as it is, then you start experiencing a great liberation inside. This amazing freedom from judgement happens when you are not attached to any particular thought.
You are experiencing thoughts flowing through you, yet not clinging to them. Your life then becomes a journey of letting go of the small limited self who was wrapped up in ideas, and begins stepping into the vast boundless unlimited potentiality of who you truly are. The day all your judging drops, total inner peace floods in and a wave of healing and deeper relaxation expands out into the world.
